The Fourth Welland Canal is the one that is still in operation today. Open from April to December, millions of dollars of merchandise flows through this canal each year! Every winter it undergoes repairs for the next shipping season. While most of us see the canal almost everyday, it is still a marvel of our times and cool to look at too!
